India USA travel ban to be lifted by November 2021

Good news for those who’ve been waiting to travel to (and from) USA.

As many of you are aware, the US has imposed few travel bans since the start of the COVID pandemic. Biden’s most recent ban was on April 30th, 2021, when he banned travelers from India due to an increase in COVID cases in the country.

Though the global situation has improved, the US has maintained the travel ban on 33 countries, including the EU Schengen Area, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, India, China, Iran, and Brazil.

Finally, on September 20th, 2021, the White House announced plans for a new policy that would begin lifting the travel ban in early November 2021.

We will summarise the news that has occurred since the announcement and provide the most up-to-date status in this article.

We will continue to update this article as new information becomes available.
